python-germinate software package provides expand dependencies in seed packages (Python 2 interface), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-germinate
python-germinate is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-germinate package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-germinate *
You will get with python-germinate package name, version, architecture and description in a table
